I was able to get Rachel up to Madison during a time of the year when there wasn't six or so standing inches of snow on the ground. And she didn't step in an ice puddle. I think it helped her see why I like Madison. That being said, the city has changed a lot since I've moved, which is nice because it's hard to be nostalgic for a city that you don't know so well.
